Dr. Rosner is one of the leading experts in Michigan in treating snoring and sleep apnea. He has given numerous lectures and has been interviewed about new treatments for newspaper articles as well as radio and television. He is one of the select few ENTs double boarded in sleep medicine.

Snoring is irregular with pauses and may be very loud. Obesity, sleepiness, morning headache, and facial hair are common in apnea patients. Untreated sleep apnea makes patient feel older and tired. Apnea is diagnosed with an overnight sleep study (polysomnogram) performed in a sleep laboratory. In this test the number of breath holding episodes per hour, oxygen level, and sleep stage are measured. Home sleep testing is now offered as an alternative to in-lab testing.
